THE DEFENSE OF THE YEAR
The Journey I Took
ABOUT ME
Me and the competencies.
Throughout my education at Patiño, I've learned four disciplines that have vastly improved my abilities as an entrepreneur. This website is a showcase of those disciplines represented by a few artifacts from each of my classes. Below are the different competencies of an entrepreneur, and their explanations.
Problem Solver
Pushing forward despite hardships, and finding a different, new, or unconventional method to solve a problem that needed action taken upon. In this category, you'll find projects from Physics, Humanities, and my Business Incubator course that relate to this competency, and showcases what I can do in relation to it.
Adaptive Learner
Always changing, adapting, and intermingling new skills. That's what it means to be an adaptive learner. Taking what has gone right and wrong, you'll witness different works that relate to this idea. In this category, you'll find projects from Business Incubator, AP Seminar, and Humanities that relate to the forthcoming of new skills being showcased.
Risk Taker
Taking a gamble with your work knowing it might not work out, but knowing that doing so would then provide the highest quality finished product is the definition of being not only a risk-taker but an entrepreneur. You'll find artifacts from Business Incubator, AP Seminar, and Humanities that relate to my ability to go above and beyond.
Digitally Literate Citizen
Being able to complete projects using a digital medium is one of the defining features of my generation. Knowing how to make powerpoints, build websites, or use some other related piece of technology is a must for an entrepreneur. In this competency, you'll find artifacts from Physics, Trigonometry, and Business Incubator that show tech prowess.
